Thursday.

Not wanting to depict a child, I just cant contain my excitement now that Hari Raya is just around the corner. No doubt.

No mood to work. Zilch. Nill. I want to head home and help Gramps in whatever else she's left to do before the victorious day arrives.

I'm feeling...

(dont ask me what the Chinese characters mean..but i assume it means happy...)

While I was on my way to work earlier, I reminisced Eid during the good old schooling days.

I'd go to the bazaar (with either dearest Freako or Kuz Liyana) to hunt for the cheapest & most attractive Hari Raya greeting cards. We'd stand at the stall for God-knows-how-long, listing the recipient's names & counting to ensure that no one is missed out. We'd scan thru the piles of cards to look for the outstanding and most appropriate ones.

Like a happy little kid, we'd go home and scribble sincere wishes on the cards addressed to those loved & close to our hearts. We'd seal the envelopes with 'Thank You, Mr Postman'.

Of course, we'd get our bunch of Hari Raya cards too. Kuz Liyana & I would decorate our walls with the cards and those who came would read them.

Those were the days...

Things change. Technology takes over. Revolution of greetings...

FROM

TO

Then...sincere wishes written on the cards.
Now...mass greetings thru the technology we call SMS/MMS/E-Greetings.

How...sad?

Tonight is the last night for Terawih (Ramadhan prayers). Coincidentally, it falls on a Thursday night. Am sure there's gonna be recital of the Yasin. Insya'Allah.

I know I'm fasting and am a little unethical to post these pictures below. But I'd like to share them & tickle your tastebuds for a moment.

Errrmmm....salivating??

Dont ask me where you can get them cause I was just about to ask YOU peeps where can I get them!

Ahakz!

*evil laughter*
