So after Freako's 19th, it was urs truly's 23rd.
I wasnt in a state of mind to celebrate my 23rd actually. Dont ask me why. Wasnt counting down, wasnt expecting anything (sis marlisa, now u know y i cldnt come up w something for my wishlist.). Gramps could sense it. She checked on me. I am thankful for having her. We talked things out. But the feelings still refused to spark. Let's not discuss abt this, shall we? Cut the story short, total turn of events, it was the BEST in my 23 years!!
I had 3 cakes & LOADZZZZZZZZ of prezzies!!! THANK YOU is NOT enough!! But THANK YOU ALL!!

On the actual day, it was lunch at Ramen Ten @ HarbourFront with the colleagues. Vivo vouchers & a bouquet (????).
Sumptuous dinner at Simpang Bedok with the Gramps, Uncles & Aunts in the evening. Simple yet sweet. Thanks y'all..!
On Friday, a surprise awaited me when i went home to my Tamp crib. I was sleepy but was freshened up upon hearing them singing the birthday song with Mum holding a cake that has my photo printed on it. I was speechless, touched, overwhelmed, elated. Mixed emotions were spinning in me.
1) a box with 20 different prezzies in it
2) a cake with my photo printed
3) something from my parents
4) spree entitlement from my siblings
total of 23 presents from my dearest hommies! 23 years old, 23 presents. aint dat suh-weeeett!! im DIABETIC!!
