Singapore is well known for its Port. Singapore is well known for its food haven. Singapore is well known for The Merlion. Singapore is well known for The Changi Airport.
Well. The best part is..Singaporeans are well known for its 'Singlish'..!! Heh.
Eh, help me lah?
Alamak! Must buy meh??
Don't be like that lor...
Oi!! You very bad one leh!!
Eh! I forgot to bring my book sia!!
And now, there's a new one.
Tomorrow I got school, can??
Ahakz! Ok. Now the word 'can', at least, doesnt sound soooo Singlish as compared to the formers. Right? It sounds English. Heh. This reminds me of my Broadrick days. Mrs Moira Remedios and her 'Speak Good English Campaign'. Of all classes, 4/2 won the Best Class Award. Heh! Me, being the monitress, was astounded by the announcement. Those were the days. The Good Old Days.
Anyhooz, ever heard about the 'Human Freeze' mob?? They 'conducted' it at some parts of the globe. They've done it at London, Sydney, New York, Edinburgh and some other places too. It's whack! They all have the standard procedure. Get volunteers, assemble at the 'meeting point', brief and freeze (how it rhymes 'brief & freeze') for, say, 5 minutes.
I mean, imagine you are walking at a crowded place and suddenly the people around you freeze?? How??
Check this out, courtesy of Youtube.com. (hang on a bit, it is being fast forward in the beginning)
Was blog-hopping and landed on thisBLOG. And the writer is organising one. Here is Singapore!! I'd love to join but then unfortunately, it falls on a bad date for me. Those going, have fun aight! Freeze for me too! All the best to the organiser. I wonder how the Makciks, Pakciks, Aunties, Uncles will react to the freeze mob. *ponders*
