when i told the vendors to forward their statements to my colleague and ended the email with 'it's been a great pleasure working with you', they immediately called asking if i am leaving the company or if i've got a better offer or, best still, if i am promoted.
naahh. none of the above. it is just a routine job rotation. nothing too serious or to make a big hoo-haa of. heh.
yes, i do have the intention to leave now that the major part of my job scope has been snatched away from me. yes, i had to use the word snatched coz i felt like i was robbed of it. snatch thief. pfftt! but i guess i'll have to put that plans aside. big plans ahead. many things need to be done. things to buy. and that equates to $$$. cant afford to leave my job. hang in there, norin. hang on. i should be grateful for having a job in the current economic situation. alhamdulillah.
as the saying goes, 'just go with the flow'.
